Estrella Vega, MD, is a board-certified family medicine and geriatric physician. With more than 12 years of experience treating patients of all ages, Dr. Vega delivers comprehensive care to residents in the community of Apopka, Florida, at I Am Healthy. She consistently incorporates a holistic approach to health care, ensuring her patients are treated in mind, body, and spirit.
Dr. Vega attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California, before beginning her residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando, which is now part of AdventHealth. Passionate about elder care, she later completed a geriatric fellowship at the same hospital.
As a family medicine specialist, Dr. Vega strives to form long-lasting relationships with her patients and contribute to their overall well-being. She delivers a wide array of services for patients young and old, including immunizations, well-child visits, annual physicals, diabetes management, breast cancer awareness, and advanced care planning.
